These little motorized boats connect Deira and Bur Dubai and have been ferrying passengers back and forth for decades. The price is negligible. Go to the Jumeirah Beach. Dubai has a number of excellent public beaches. They are clean, safe for swimming and family friendly. Walk in Creekside Park.
