Children’s City- Adventure Couldn’t Sound More Exciting!
Under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Children’s City was opened in March 5th 2002. The Dubai-based Children’s City is the first educational city in the UAE devoted to children between two and fifteen years old where they can investigate, explore, play, discover, and learn about the world in which we live. The City is especially designed for children to interact and discover together in family and school groups. It contains several exhibits and programs on applied sciences, nature, space exploration, human body, local and international culture as well as a children-under-five corner and a planetarium. In addition, Children’s City presents daily educational workshops through out the year. A theater venue and the galleries present different shows to cater for children and students. Children’s city galleries Space Exploration - Feel what its like to travel in space and see how astronauts live. Experience some of nature’s secrets and destructive forces like tornadoes. Discover how airplanes stay in the sky and see if you can land a plane. Play Space - There’s a lot for you to do. Build a house or bridge, recycle rubbish or take part in a factory production line. What are you waiting for, Come in and enjoy yourself. Toddler’s Area - If you are under five years old, enter to play with sand, water and sir. You can also, spend some time in our special playhouse. Nature Center - Have you ever wondered about the environment and wildlife of the UAE? Touch feel , smell your way through like in the desert and in the sea. Do you know how to cope with heat and sand. International Culture - Find out how children live in other parts of the world. What they learn at school? What they eat and the game they play?
