Statement by HE Dr Omar Bin Sulaiman, Governor of the DIFC, on Dubai Metro
The Dubai Metro project represents a glorious culmination of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. As a crucial component of the emirate’s infrastructure, the Metro will significantly contribute to Dubai’s future economic growth through providing seamless links to its economic nerve-centres such as the Dubai International Airport, the Dubai World Trade Centre, DIFC, Burj Dubai, and further beyond to the free zone clusters of TECOM Investments and Jebel Ali. On the lifestyle front, the Dubai Metro has given us the opportunity to better experience this amazing city. I sincerely commend the hard work that has gone into this project and made every resident proud for being a part of this city that sets no boundaries for itself.|
