The Big 5 is committed to advancing high-performance, energy efficient green building solutions and environmentally friendly technologies. The Big 5 has launched a range of new features, conferences, workshops and awards with a strong green theme. And one can also visit PMV at the same venue as The Big 5. The Big 5 Technical Conference focuses on the latest issues surrounding Green Building policy and requirements, and best practice for Green Building Technology design and product sourcing. This inaugural Big 5 Technical Conference highlights the practical aspects and experiences of key senior professionals who are personally involved with some of the world’s most significant green projects, and with the development and implementation of policy. For the first time this year the Gaia Awards have been incorporated in The Big 5. Products and services exhibited at this year’s Big 5 exhibition that reduce the impact on the environment were eligible awards. All those exhibitors who entered the awards will be featured on a special Green Building Product Listing, allowing visitors to locate these products on the exhibition floor. For the first time, the Big 5 PMV, a dedicated arena for plant, machinery, tools & construction will run alongside The Big 5 providing the Middle East with the biggest product showcase of it’s kind ever.
