Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is an idyllic, exclusive oasis, set within a 225-square-kilometre desert conservation reserve. Framed by the Hajar Mountains in the distance - this is a place of unique contrasts. individual suites with private pools, fine dining, exquisite wines, panoramic skyscapes and indigenous flora and fauna are all set within wide open plains, the effect of which is one of transformation - allowing guests to unwind, relax and experience total peace and balance. Built in the style of a traditional Bedouin encampment the main building is testimony to a way of life which has not changed in thousands of years. Jamila Spa and Leisure Center: Discreetly concealed amidst the dunes near the main building and integrated into the main swimming pool and pool bar is Al Maha’s Jamilah Spa & Leisure Centre. In order to conserve the desert’s most precious resource and in keeping with Al Maha’s environmental focus, all the water is fully recycled and returned to its groundwater source via a unique irrigation system. The world-class spa and leisure facility also incorporates: - Two single massage rooms above private gardens offering complete body massage treatments - Timber decks that link the interior with the exterior allowing for easy access to the lush oasis - Two double massage rooms offer treatment for couples in complete privacy and are attached to the hydrotherapy and Rasool therapy rooms, both with private bathrooms - Private massage rooms are linked by a public area to an ‘infinity edge’ relaxation pool - A comprehensive range of fitness equipment - A sauna, steam room, interior Jacuzzi and plunge pool with panoramic views over private gardens Al Majlis Boardroom: In total contrast to the natural surroundings of Al Maha, the Al Majlis Boardroom employs state-of-the-art multimedia presentation equipment and on-line video conferencing. Seminars can be held with individuals or groups anywhere in the world, digital data shared, training executed and opinions collated instantly using a voting system, all at the touch of a button. Al Maha’s conference facility is equipped to accommodate: * 40 guests boardroom-style * 60 guests conference-style * 90 guests theatre-style Suites:Carefully designed to harmonize with the spectacular surroundings - the suites draw inspiration from traditional architecture. Privacy is paramount - each of the suites stands in its own space with a large veranda and private chilled pool. All suites have a large walk-in shower and king-sized bath as well as a "his and hers" vanity area, dressing area, minibar and tea and coffee making facilities. Ranging from the luxurious Emirates Suite at approx. 375 sq. meters to the more economical Bedouin Suites at 75 sq. meters, all suites have floor to ceiling windows which offer unhindered views across an incomparable terrain forming the true oasis of the desert.
