“During these unprecedented times, CSR has proven to be a very useful tool  for businesses that have successfully navigated new challenges. More companies in Dubai have become consistent and systematic in their approach to CSR, while they are also aligning CSR with business strategies,” said H.E. Al Shirawi, who added that 467 labels have been awarded by Dubai Chamber to date.

Awarded companies were applauded by Dubai Chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business for their initiatives and commitment to supporting and developing their CSR activities. Companies that apply to the programme benefit from detailed assessment reports on their workplace environmental and social impact, which analyse strategies and regulations and help organisations implement better CSR policies and practices.

Founded in 2004, the Dubai Chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) is the first institution of its kind in the UAE that plays a leading role in promoting corporate social responsibility. The Centre encourages member companies of the Chamber to adopt responsible business practices, which ultimately enhance their performance and competitiveness.
