Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has revealed that more than 75% of its employees have taken the COVID-19 vaccine, which is in line with its commitment to support the UAE’s national vaccination campaign.
The campaign aims to vaccinate more than half of the population by the end of March 2021 to achieve a full recovery from the global pandemic.
DGW has committed to comply with the preventive measures and precautions laid down by the government of the UAE to ensure business continuity, keeping in mind the safety of employees and customers at the same time.
Commenting on achieving a significant milestone, H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi CEO of DGW said: “Dubai Government Workshop is eager to follow all the protocols which will guarantee the safety and health of its employees and customers. We hope to do our bit and contribute effectively to support the national efforts aimed at combating the emerging challenges which have risen due to the pandemic.”
H.E added: “We have been working towards facilitating providing the vaccine to our workforce in support to the UAE’s efforts in supplying the COVID-19 vaccines to the population to curb the spread of coronavirus. The UAE was one of the first countries to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine which is a source of confidence and hope, under the guidance of our wise leadership to lead the UAE on the road to recovery. Meanwhile, we will continue our vaccination efforts to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.”
