The senior leadership team of Emirates Post Group took to the field last week to mark World Post Day. Led by the Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, HE Abdulla Mohammed Al Ashram, chief executive officers spent several hours with front-line workers wrapping small packets, sorting mail, and creating shipments on the system at the Sorting Centre, conducting contactless deliveries to corporate and individual customers and assisting customers with their requests at the Dubai Central Customer Happiness Centre in Karama.
The aim of this initiative was to recognize the ongoing efforts and sacrifices made by Emirates Post’s front-line employees. The interactions between the senior management and staff were mutually beneficial and had a significant impact in improving communication dynamics and creating a greater level of understanding and appreciationbetween the management and the front-line teams, all of whom enjoyed sharing their knowledge and experience.
Since 1969, World Post Day has been celebrated annually on 09 October in more than 150 countries worldwide to commemorate the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 and raise awareness about the role of postal services.
