His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Commissioner General for the Health and Knowledge track at the Dubai Council, chaired today the first meeting of Dubai’s Education Sector Strategy project. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), and the work team.
The global consultant Mackenzie & Company has been appointed to kick off the education sector strategy in Dubai for the next 50 years.
“In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the January 4, 2020 Charter, we strive to make Dubai a leading destination for education, by investing in education, to build national talents, and develop their capabilities and expertise to enhance the sustainable development with all its social and economic aspects,” said Al Tayer.
"The study includes innovative measures aimed at building a world-leading educational system and improving the quality and efficiency of the educational sector in Dubai, which will contribute to a high-quality educational sector,” added Al Tayer.
