“Make a Wish” Foundation UAE granted wishes of 15 children suffering from cancer, as part of its celebration, in co-operation with Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), of the International Childhood Cancer Day.
The celebration was attended by Hani Al Zubaidi Make A Wish Foundation UAE CEO, Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Acting Chief Medical Officer (SKMC), Dr. Naser Al Zein, MD Pediatric Hematology & Oncology (SKMC), Project Manager and “Make a Wish” Foundation UAE team, along with sick children, their parents and SKMC medical team.
15 wishes of children with fatal cancer diseases were granted, modern electronic devices such as Electronic car, I Pad, Play Station and Nintendo as part of “I wish to have”, traveling to Disney Land and England as part of “I wish to go”, along with granting a wish in “I wish to be”.
Hani Al Zubaidi Make a Wish Foundation UAE CEO thanked SKMC management and medical team for their continuous efforts and support to the Foundation through making the children and their families happy and uplifting their spirits during their long and painful treatment.

As, Dr.Fatima Al Kaabi mentioned, "Social and humanitarian initiatives play a key role in providing support to sick children and their families, which contributes significantly to overcoming the disease.
