The Dubai World Dental Meeting – DWDM, dedicated to the most advanced dental courses and bringing together the best scientific minds in dentistry all under one roof, begins at Novotel Hotel, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre today. Running until the 3rd of February, 2020, the 3-day scientific dental meeting aims to focus its attention on imparting world-class dental knowledge and technical training to dentistry practitioners from the region and abroad in specific areas of dentistry while also delivering a unique platform for fostering dental excellence.
The 20th edition of DWDM features a rich scientific agenda comprising many highly-advanced scientific dental topics where under ‘Aesthetic Dentistry Course’ experts will offer their insights on ‘Ceramic Veneers: A Practical Guide to Clinical Success’ while under ‘Restorative Course’, top experts will share their knowledge on ‘Porcelain Veneers: From Preparation to Cementation’ and ‘The Art & Science of Direct Composites’. In addition, other topics highlighted during the meeting, under ‘Laser Dentistry Course’ include ‘Planning for Future: Lasers in Dentistry’ while under ‘Implantology Course’ expert dentists will focus their attention on ‘True Bone Regeneration in the Aesthetic Zone, Up Regulating Host Healing’. Among other courses, DWDM agenda covers ‘Orthodontic Course’ and ‘Endodontics Course’, as well.
On the sidelines, DWDM 2020 is followed by 2 exclusive world-renowned pre-conference dental gatherings including ‘AEEDC Dubai World Orthodontic Conference 2020’ and ‘AEEDC Dubai World Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Conference 2020’, running parallel to each other on the 3rd and 4th of February, 2020 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
While the ‘AEEDC Dubai World Orthodontic Conference 2020’, is expected to attract over 300 participants including leading dental practitioners from across the region and abroad, the conference witnesses the presence of 16 speakers, who will share their insights on many topics such as ‘Digital Orthodontics’, ‘’Interceptive Orthodontics’, ‘Miniscrews Anchorage in Orthodontics’, ‘Orthodontics’ and ‘White Spot Lesions’.
Running concurrently, the AEEDC Dubai World Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Conference 2020’, is expected to attract over 200 participants over two days and will witness the attendance of 14 expert speakers who will share their expertise on various key trending dental topics such as ‘Facial Esthetic Surgery’, ‘Facial Esthetic in Reconstructive Surgery’, ‘Esthetic Considerations & Complications in Orthognathic Surgery’ and ‘Complications in Traumatology’.
It is worth mentioning that all pre-conference attendees will get a chance to attend the AEEDC Dubai Conference and Exhibition, which is taking place from the 4th to the 6th of February, 2020 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In its 2020 edition, AEEDC Dubai Conference and Exhibition, is expected to attract more than 55,000 visitors and participants from 155 countries over the 3 days and is set to witness the participation of 167 speakers from across the globe, who will offer their insights on the most advanced topics in dentistry during 173 Scientific Sessions. Additionally, the conference presents
18 advanced courses and workshop sessions that have been specially designed to raise awareness about the latest dental issues. The premier dental event also includes 210 poster presentations which aim to improve the knowledge of dentistry professionals on matters related to scientific research in dentistry. Running parallel to the conference, the exhibition is expected to attract 2,732 local and international companies, with the participation of over 4000 international brands.
DWDM, a continuing education program, is organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions – a member of INDEX Holding and will continue until the 3rd of February, 2020 with accreditation hours from the INDEX Conference & Exhibitions, which is an American Dental Association ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
