Dar Al Ber Society and Dubai Taxi Corporation have signed an agreement of understanding, that aims to strengthen the partnership between the two parties, to achieve the vision of Dubai government , to bring happiness to their customers, and work together to improve the performance of operations and simplify procedures to provide qualitative services, launch social initiatives, support social activities, and activate charitable initiatives. The revenues of these initiatives go to humanitarian work.
The agreement includes several initiatives, among which three charitable initiatives, which are :"watering water", feeding food to drivers, defaulting at the Dubai Taxi Corporation, and the Hope Fund for the financially and medically distressed. It also includes the exchange of best practices in creativity and innovation in the areas of joint work, in order to enhance the directions of Dubai Government, promote the participation of both parties by sponsoring and implementing social and charitable initiatives and events of the other party, and participate in fundraising within the Emirate of Dubai, in support of the march of social and humanitarian work in the UAE, and spread awareness of the importance of charitable and humanitarian work, to achieve the greatest social solidarity in the UAE.
The agreement was signed by Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, Head of the Social Service Sector in the society, and Dr. Eng. Yousef Mohammed Al Ali, Executive Director of Dubai Taxi.
