You’ll find thoughtfulness, smiles and state-of-the-art innovation inside the Thailand Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, as the Southeast Asian kingdom shows the world its many charms.
Famous for its tropical beaches and rich heritage, the country will use the next World Expo to position itself as a regional hub for technology and creativity in the digital realm.
The pavilion will use the promise of business opportunities and a convenient lifestyle to attract Expo visitors from every corner of the planet, in line with its theme of ‘Mobility for the Future’.
Located in Expo 2020’s Mobility Thematic District, the building will be draped in a curtain made from more than 500 artificial blossoms, representing the never-ending journey of pollen.
Inspired by the traditional floral garlands used in Thailand to welcome houseguests, the structure’s design symbolises hospitality, luck and respect.
Expo visitors will have the chance to learn how to arrange their own flower garlands, and may even have an opportunity to decorate the pavilion with engravings of Thai flowers.
Thailand is the latest country to reveal the design and theme of its pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. More are due to follow in the coming months.
