For the second year in a row, Dubai Municipality launched the Happiness Flag, an initiative aimed at enhancing the concept of positive competition among organizational units in order to improve its services and achieve customer satisfaction by providing innovative services.
The initiative is in line with the vision of Dubai Municipality to build a happy and sustainable city, and in line with the strategy of providing smart services and solutions to achieve customer satisfaction.
Manal bin Yaarouf Al Suwaidi, Director of Customer Relations Department, said that Dubai Municipality is keen to create unique and unprecedented initiatives, which have a clear impact in improving its services and raising the level of happiness of its customers in various aspects and fields, and showcasing these achievements and benefiting from them and documenting them as best practices.
An external jury was selected with members representing various organizations, including Dubai Media Incorporated, Dubai Executive Council, Dubai Club for People of Determination and Smart Dubai Office to vote for the best initiative.
From the six different initiatives, covering different sectors of municipal work, presented this year, the "Maskani" initiative by the Survey and GIS departments was selected as the best initiative.
