Nils Hallerstrom has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director to Novus Aviation Capital’s Board of Directors effective 1st January 2019. Nils was the President of PK Finans from 1991. In 2000, PK was acquired by General Electric Capital Corporation and changed its name to PK AirFinance, which he held the position of President for GE Capital Aviation Services/PK AirFinance till the end of 2018, he helped grow PK’s aircraft backed debt portfolio to over $6bn. He has also been a Director of International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) and on the Board of Governors of their appraisal programme as well as a regular lecturer on Aircraft Financing at the Air Business Academy in Toulouse.
Novus’s Chairman, Safwan Kuzbari said “A very well-recognised figure within our industry, we have known Nils from the early 1980s with whom we have built a strong commercial and professional relationship. His wealth of experience, deep knowledge of the market, coupled with his understanding of risk will provide significant insight and value to our Board as we execute on our growth plans and continue institutionalising our platform.“
