Omar Khan, Director of International Offices, Dubai Chamber, gave a presentation at the reception that underlined the competitive advantages offered by Dubai’s dynamic business environment. He emphasised the importance of promoting trade and investment between Dubai and Azerbaijan, which already enjoy solid commercial and business ties.
Khan went on to note that Dubai enjoys an important strategic location at the crossroads of various international trade routes and that the emirate boasts advanced infrastructure and logistics, as well as cultural diversity within the business community - factors that position it as a gateway to regions beyond the Gulf and Middle East.
Khan also reaffirmed Dubai Chamber’s commitment to providing the necessary support and facilities for businessmen in both countries to establish successful business partnerships, in line with its strategic objectives.
Since it opened in 2012, Dubai Chamber’s representative office in Baku has been a key driver in promoting business relations between Dubai and Azerbaijan. The office acts as a gateway for UAE investment in Azeri markets and facilitates Azeri companies wishing to enter Dubai’s and the UAE’s markets.
