Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) recently conducted a meeting aimed towards creating and developing a new vision and strategic objectives that can help serve the goals of Dubai 2021, especially in its move to establish a pioneering and innovative government that provides services that meet the needs of individuals and society as a whole. The meeting, which was organized by H.E. Humaid Sultan Al Mutaiwee, Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) CEO focused primarily on updating DGW's 'Strategic Plan 2019 - 2023'--falling in line with the Dubai Government's mandate to promote and adopt a culture of excellence, innovation and development across all areas of government work.
Al Mutaiwee expressed DGW's continuing commitment towards following the directives of the government to adopt and implement best practices in governance that have been created to further enhance efficiency and sustainability, particularly in the employment of government resources to ensure the continuity of knowledge and growth. He explained that the DGW's move to update its 'Strategic Plan 2019 - 2023' follows after the order to establish a culture of excellence and innovation, both viewed as cornerstones for upgrading government services and in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The meeting, which was attended by representatives from various organizational units, looked towards determining DGW's future vision based on key areas of work--including maintenance, insurance and registration management of all vehicles and the adoption of newer areas like electric vehicles maintenance and self-driving vehicles maintenance, which fall in line with the emirate's rapid development.
