A multidiscipline inter-company sports championship organised by the global trade enabler DP World’s UAE Regional offices marked the end of a month long and nation-wide Dubai Fitness Challenge participation, that saw the participation of more than 1042 participants from 44 companies.
Open to all its business partners and Jebel Ali Free Zone companies, the event included several competitions out of which, basketball and football tournaments were won by DP World, while Omar Sharif Al Marzooqi, Senior Manager - General Administration, DP World, UAE Region, took home the first place trophy in tennis. The much anticipated cricket match was bagged by DP World Security, the award winning security solutions provider.
Meanwhile, Trouvay Cauvin Gulf won the volleyball tournament, Gerab National Enterprises claimed first, second and third positions in foosball in tug-of-war, Q Steel’s Pranaya Nayak won in badminton, and M.H. Alshaya’s S. Mahdi won the chess competition.
