Under the theme ‘Explore, Experience, Enjoy. This Way!’ Global Village, the world’s leading multicultural Festival Park and the region’s first family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, announced the unveiling of the season’s biggest Filipino concert. TAG:Live with MAYWARD will take place on November 23, 2018, 9 PM at Global Village Main Stage, in partnership with UAE’s leading Filipino Radio station, TAG 91.1 and boutique entertainment, fashion, luxury and lifestyle PR and Marketing Management Agency, YUGEN PR.
TAG:Live 2018 with MAYWARD, the celebrity team of Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber, in a special and exclusive performance designed to enchant their fans and guests at Global Village. It will include musical pieces and dance numbers amid a live interview. MAYWARD will also wow the audience as they serenade them with a mix of their hit singles by superstars Beyoncé and Justin Bieber.
The MAYWARD story is the stuff of fairytales. It has been two years since Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber graced Filipino television screens as teen housemates in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Lucky Season 7. Maymay was trying to reach her showbiz dream while aiming to help augment her family’s expenses while Edward was wondering if he could ever make it as a teen performer. Their dreams as teenagers have been surpassed in the shortest possible time and they have achieved even more as a team with chart topping singles, concert events and roles in TV series and movies. With loads of hard work and some luck, they’ve made the most of every opportunity that came their way after the PBB Big Night when Edward was Fourth Lucky Big Placer and Maymay was the Lucky Big Winner.
Global Village concerts are held every Friday at 9 pm, after the fireworks show on the Main Stage. All concerts are included in the price of Global Village’s entry tickets for AED 15. Global Village welcomes guests to its 23rd season for 159 days from 30th October 2018 to 6th April 2019. It is open from 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, Saturday to Wednesday and from 4:00 pm - 1:00 am on Thursday, Friday and public holidays. Global Village is dedicated to families and women only on Mondays.
