Dubai Customs won the “Best Service Provider in the Middle East” award from Business News magazine.
The Award’s Committee of Trustees studied the service profiles and offerings of 10 customs bodies in the region, and gave the award to Dubai Customs after careful consideration.
The Committee highlighted that Dubai Customs is an example to follow in adopting the latest smart applications to serve its clients in the best possible way.
Dubai Customs updates and develops its applications across a number of platforms to facilitate customs procedures in accordance with its vision towards Dubai Plan 2021.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Khaja, Executive Director of Clients Management Division received the award on behalf of Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs from Mohammed Salman, Editor in Chief in the presence of Edris Behzad, Client Management Director, Khalil Saqr, Director of Corporate Communication Department, and Wagih Abdelaty, Senior Manager, Media & public Relations.
Commenting on this, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs said:
“We are happy to have received this distinctive award from Business News Magazine which complements other accolades we won recently like the top place on the Happiness Meter at 95%. This initiative, that was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai is a strategic initiative which helps encourage all departments to work harder in order to make their clients happier”.

On his part, Edris Behzad expressed his happiness for this recognition and said:

Behzad commended the reputable award which, he said, motivates and entices innovation within government departments.

Mohammed bin Sulman explained that this award is non-profit and was launched to support innovative ideas and initiatives in the Middle East.
