The UAE will on Sunday, 4th November 2018, launch the Unified Customs Strategy, announced Ali Al Kaabi, Customs Commissioner and Head of the Federal Customs Authority.
Al Kaabi said the strategy aims to support the country's security and customs systems, maintain community security and stability and improve the UAE's rankings in the international competitiveness indexes.
He stated that the strategy will standardise customs systems, strike a balance and harmony and achieve integration of customs work between the federal and local governments.
He added that the strategy was developed by a team of Emirati customs experts, who own long accumulated experience that will have a positive impact on the customs work.
