As part of the bank's strategy to boost nationalisation efforts, Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today announced that it is organising a ‘Recruitment Open Day’ for UAE Nationals in collaboration with The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE). This initiative is in line with the Emiratisation-related objectives of UAE Vision 2021 National Agenda and part of the three-pronged approach that the MoHRE has launched this year to secure 15,000 job opportunities for Emiratis across strategic economic sectors in 2018.
Emirates Islamic will host the ‘Recruitment Open Day’ on October 8 at The Happiness Center in Dubai for Emiratis to discover a range of career opportunities in the bank across a variety of departments and positions including Supervisors, Home Finance Advisors, Retail Banking Advisors and Service Ambassadors. The bank will also offer UAE nationals a chance to work in sales, thus supplementing the currently offered opportunities to bring a more comprehensive banking experience and offering a unique challenge for them to learn more about the sector.
Marwan Salem Abunawas AlMheiri, Chief Human Resources Officer at Emirates Islamic, said: “With the banking sector growing rapidly within the UAE economy, it is vital that we welcome new, capable and talented UAE nationals into the industry and help them fast-track their careers while endeavouring to support their personal and professional growth. We look forward to meeting potential Emirati candidates who are fresh high school graduates and are delighted to offer them an opportunity to contribute to the growth of Islamic finance in the UAE.”
Emirates Islamic’s initative is part of the bank’s commitment to support the UAE’s Emiratisation drive, aimed at increasing the pool of UAE national talent in the banking sector.
