Rijas Aces, the developers of DusitPrincess Rijas Dubai, announced the engagement of South African cricket legend Herschelle Gibbs as the project's Brand Ambassador.
Slated to open mid-2019, the upper-midscale property is strategically located within Jumeirah Village Circle, just 30 minutes by car from the new Al Makhtoum International Airport, and close to numerous major shopping and entertainment venues, including the upcoming World Expo site.
A sporting icon with a large following of fans across the region, Herschelle Gibbs is renowned for his many feats in cricket in a playing career spanning some 14 years. Not only was he the first player to hit six consecutive sixes in one over in One Day International cricket (ODI), but he is also one of only eight batsmen in ODI history to score hundreds in three consecutive innings. He also helped lead South Africa to a record-breaking win over Australia by slamming a brilliant 175 in 111 balls.
