Dubai Land Department (DLD) recorded an influx of visitors on its platform during the second day of Cityscape Global 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) which will continue to Thursday, 4th October 2018.
Alongside this global event, DLD signed two memorandums of understanding (MoUs), with OnTime Property Registration Trustees and with Knight Frank Middle East, as part of its efforts to facilitate its services to customers remotely and at any time.
HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, signed the two MoUs with Waleid bin Abdulkareem, CEO of OnTime Property Registration Trustees, and Maria Morris, Partner and Head of Residential at Knight Frank Middle East.
The MoU signed with OnTime Property Registration Trustees aims to provide convenient real estate services to real estate investors by reducing visits from 15 stops to one stop and processing time from 10 working days to one working day. The MoU signed with Knight Frank Middle East will provide advisory services to promote Dubai’s real estate around the world.
HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, commented: “We are pleased that DLD’s platform became a key destination in this exhibition. Our platform was visited by developers, visitors, and investors for various purposes, and our latest technologies attracted a lot of attention. We noticed a high focus on Dubai’s transparent regulatory environment and on the recent incentives announced by the UAE Government. Our participation in the exhibition achieved the previously set objectives and we will continue to communicate with interested parties through our different channels, enhancing the horizon of real estate investment, and contributing to the UAE’s leadership and development as one of the world's leading investment destinations.”
The real estate services trustees are promoting real estate in Russian, Hindi, Chinese, and English, and the staff there is available to provide services directly to customers. Additionally, the Corner highlighted DLD’s digital shift in terms of upgrading the level of government services provided to its customers, especially those relating to the facilitating of procedures, customer satisfaction, and the continuous development of these services.
Today, DLD’s platform witnessed additional activities, where HE Marwan bin Ghalita, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) at DLD, honoured the new brokers, notably Tanami Properties and Azco Real Estate Brokers LLC, for achieving the highest sales rate this year.
DLD participated in Cityscape Global 2018 under the slogan ‘Dubai Land Department…simulating your property with artificial intelligence,’ to highlight its smart applications and eagerness to keep pace with the latest technologies and artificial intelligence in the real estate sector, allowing it to contribute to the consolidation of Dubai's position and excellence as the smartest and happiest city in the world.
