Faraj Fund, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, distributed over 950 school bags complete with educational supplies to prison inmates. The school supplies are dedicated towards the happiness of each inmate’s children and family.

Faraj Fund stands as one of the great examples of community humanitarian work in the country. Thanks to the generous humanitarian spirit of government leaders and contributions from benefactors and philanthropists, the Fund has contributed to the release of more than 9,500 inmates since its inception in 2009.
In accordance with its strategy in 2018, Faraj Fund has launched several charitable initiatives that has effectively contributed to alleviating the situation of thousands of prison inmates and their families, redoubling efforts and expanding the scope of charitable and humanitarian work to support those in need of care, and helping inmates and families return to their home country.
