The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has held its annual gathering with strategic and pillar partners with the aim of boosting relationships and cooperation. The event also intended to improve the business conduct to bring it in line with the directives of the government calling for boosting public-private partnerships.
The gathering was held at Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai in the presence of Nasir Hamad Bu Shehab, CEO of Strategy and Corporate Governance, and members of RTA Partnerships Council. Attendees also included representatives of strategic and pillar partners in government, semi-government entities as well as private companies from various spectrums of the business community of the UAE.
Bu Shehab welcomed attendees and expressed his delight with this gathering, which constitutes a platform for sharing ideas, expertise, suggestions and information that play a key role in boosting the business of both parties. “We in RTA are keen on improving the relationships with our partners and raising their satisfaction with the aim of boosting bilateral relations and serving the interests of all parties,” he said.
“From inception, RTA attached considerable importance to partnerships with other entities in the UAE; which stems from our commitment to accomplish our projects perfectly at the highest international standards. In this regard we use innovative methods and capitalise on the experience of our partners to maximise their happiness and satisfaction with our services,” added Bu Shehab.
During the gathering, RTA honored partnership coordinators comprising employees of the RTA, government and semi-government agencies as well as private companies. Discussions covered a wide range of topics relating to RTA’s business, and the importance of responding to partner needs in the interest of all parties. The gathering also reviewed the revised strategic plan of RTA.
