In Presence of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe delivered a televised speech where he expressed his cordial thanks and appreciation to the efforts by UAE government and the organizers of the of the World Government Summit.
In the video message Mr Abe said that the role of governments is to invest in people’s future by promoting education and innovation and that it is essential that governments use diversity as a pillar to enable economic growth based on innovation.
He also praised the government of the UAE for taking the responsibility of ensuring public happiness and spreading the message of tolerance by launching both the Ministry of Happiness, and the Ministry of Tolerance.
“In 2020, Japan will host both the Olympics and Paralympics while the UAE will host the World Exposition. This will give both countries an international stage to demonstrate the benefits of societies living together in a spirit of tolerance,” he added.
