Under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Center for Special Needs (DCSN) hosted its annual evening of Musical Theatre.
Minister of State for Happiness Her Excellency Ohood Al Roumi attended the event on behalf of Princess Haya. Also attending the event were the Center’s Chairman Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Khayat, and its Board of Directors. This year, the concert, which was themed around ‘The Kingdom of Happiness’, was enjoyed by over 500 people, including friends and family of the Center's 145 students.
The annual concert is a celebration of the students’ achievements, which they have worked extremely hard towards over the past few months, in order to produce a varied and exciting programme of entertainment.
"We are honored by the patronage of HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, stated Director of Dubai Center for Special Needs Dr. Mahshid Salehi, and we are also proud of our students for their continued efforts and commitment in this year’s Musical Theatre evening. In line with the UAE’s Happiness Initiative, the theme of this year’s performance is the Kingdom of Happiness and our ultimate goal tonight is that you will all leave here feeling positive and inspired, and I know that the students will be delighted by your reaction”.

DCSN is an established, non-profit institution that provides high standards of services in specialised education and therapy, for children with various disabilities. Its aim is to provide its students with the resources to live a positive life, thereby lighting the path to a brighter future.
