These include DEWA’s head office, and electricity generation stations and water desalination plants. Meals are also provides to employees who work during Iftar in various departments and emergency services in different DEWA locations.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, congratulated DEWA’s staff on the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan, wishing them good health and excellence. He prayed to Allah to protect the UAE and its leadership, wishing them many happy returns of these blessed days.

“DEWA’s activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan this year support the Year of Giving initiative, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to implement initiatives for the benefit of UAE society. DEWA is organising a number of Islamic, social, cultural, and charitable activities to consolidate the spirit of brotherhood, selflessness, and cohesion in a spiritual atmosphere that reflects the Islamic values, which are based on tolerance, brotherhood, and love, as well as the UAE heritage and traditions. These activities support DEWA’s Corporate Social Responsibility and its efforts to promote the principles of sharing, teamwork, tolerance, and humane relationships among staff,” said Al Tayer.
