Mr Mohammed Al Hajri, a Saudi national based in Riyadh, is the latest dollar millionaire in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw in Series 276, which was held today (Tuesday), in Concourse A of Dubai International Airport.
Mr Al Hajri, an online winner, bought his winning ticket no. 1380 in Series 276 on 30th May, and could not believe his luck upon receiving the much-awaited phone call from Dubai Duty Free. He was so pleased with his win and is already looking forward to visiting Dubai soon to collect his prize. “Thank you Dubai Duty Free for the good news, this is my first time to win in any draw, so I am truly delighted”, said Mr Al Hajri.
Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, two more winners were announced in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion to win a luxury car and a motorbike.
Another online winner is Mr. Leslie Fernandes. The 46-year-old Indian national based in Dubai won a BMW X6 (Donington Grey) in Series 1689 – ticket no. 1211. Mr. Fernandez, a frequent traveler, bought his winning ticket online on 31st May.
Commenting on his win, Mr Fernandes said: “This is such a fantastic news and a wonderful surprise as I am celebrating my birthday today. This is simply amazing, and thank you Dubai Duty Free for truly making my day!”
Mr Fernandes, a resident of Dubai for ten years, works for an oil and gas company as Service Engineer.
Another Finest Surprise winner taking home a prize, a BMW S 1000 RR motorbike, is Mr. Musthafa C.V. in Series no. 340 - ticket no. 0128. Mr Musthafa is currently not available for immediate comment and will be pleasantly surprised when he learns of his win.
Present at the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw was Chief Operating Officer, Ramesh Cidambi; Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sinead El Sibai; Senior Vice President – Retail Support, Michael Schmidt and Vice President – HR Delivery, Mona Al Ali.
