If there’s anyone in Dubai who knows what luck means, it’s definitely Mr. Musleh Mousa Hassan who became the seventh person to win twice in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion. Mr. Hassan was announced as the latest US$1 Millionaire in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion at the draw held today, 5th June in Concourse B Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport.
Mr. Hassan, a 73-year old Lebanese national based in Dubai, became the 273rd winner of the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion in Series 273 with ticket number 0742. A corporate manager for Oman Insurance, Mr Hassan won his first US$ 1 Million in Series 134 with ticket number 3610 back in November 2012.
Mr Hassan, a regular participant to Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion, is the tenth Lebanese national to win US$ 1 million since its inception in 1999. Commenting on his recent win, Mr. Hassan said: “I remember when I first won a US$1 million in 2012 - I was over the moon, and winning again after six years is just truly an unexpected surprise. Thank you Dubai Duty Free for my amazing second win!”
Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, three winners of luxury vehicles were announced at the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise draw.
Mr. G. Barre, a French national won a BMW X6 M Exclusive (Melbourne Red Metallic) in Series 1686 with ticket number 0379. Mr. Barre is not available for comment but will be understandably surprised when he learns of his win.
Another winner who will be equally delighted is Mr. Imran Shaikh who won a Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (Rhodium Silver) in Series 1687 and ticket no. 0206.
Mr. Shaikh, a 39 year old Dubai-based Indian national, who works as broker for a real estate company couldn’t believe that his first ever in the Finest Surprise promotion brought him luck.
And lastly, Mr. Naveed Yousaf, a Pakistani national based in Dubai won a BMW R 1200 GS Adventure (Racing Red) motorbike in Series 336 with ticker number 0780. A personal banking officer for HSBC and a regular participant to Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise promotion bought his winning ticket online and commented, “I’ve been a regular participant to Dubai Duty Free promotions and I will continue to be. Thank you Dubai Duty Free for the win.”
The winning ticket numbers were drawn by Dubai Duty Free senior officials namely Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Ramesh Cidambi, COO, Salah Tahlak, EVP – Corporate Services and Sinead El Sibai, SVP - Marketing.
