A delegation from the Dubai Courts visited the Knowledge Management Department of the Dubai Municipality, to learn about its best practices in the transfer of knowledge and how it manages its internal and external websites.
Mariam bin Fahad, Director of the Municipality's Knowledge Management Department, received the delegation and briefed them about the department’s key duties, its periodic indicators, its role in achieving the municipality's vision through its strategic objective to become a pioneering and innovative global municipality, and how to develop intellectual property and win major international prizes.
The delegation listened to an explanation by Mohamed Ahmed Al Louz, Head of the Knowledge Exchange Section, about how the department manages its knowledge and innovation portal, how to use available knowledge, and how to access information through the portal, as well as about its contributions to raising awareness and identifying the municipality’s various functions.
The delegation was also briefed about how the municipality manages its external website, how to set up and discuss important topics with customers, how to get feedback, and how to identify the number of visitors and the pages they visited.
The delegation included Khalifa Al Mehrazi, Head of the Knowledge Management Department, Huda Abdulrahman, Head of the Customer Care Division, Amna Al Muddasir, Head of the External Knowledge Division, and Mohammed Shawki, Senior Programmer at the Dubai Courts.
