Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced that it will participate in the sixth edition of the 'Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition' under the theme of 'Government practices...global achievements'.
This year's event will take place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and is organised by the Dubai Government Excellence Programme with the sponsorship of a number of government entities including DLD as the Strategic Partner. The event will run from 9th to 11th April at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, commented: "Every year, we are keen to register a strong presence at this exhibition, which attracts various government entities to showcase their pioneering achievements under its umbrella. This year, Dubai Land Department will be participating under an 'Innovative Achievements...Global Leadership' slogan and showcasing a wide range of smart applications that serve the real estate market in Dubai, reaffirming our commitment to keeping abreast of the latest technological developments, improving customers happiness, and stimulating innovation. The sixth edition of the 'Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition 2018' coincides with the government's efforts to establish centres of international cooperation in government administration focused on best practices and principles."
Bin Mejren stressed the importance of DLD's role in attracting investments to Dubai's real estate market through the smart applications it provides, which aim to accelerate and facilitate the completion of sales and purchase transactions for real estate investors both inside and outside the country. During the exhibition, DLD will showcase a number of these smart applications, including Mashrooi, Ejari and Dubai Brokers, in addition to highlighting the main achievements of the Rental Disputes Centre (RDC) and the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI).
