The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has held the annual gathering of partners of its Corporate Technology Support Services Sector in an open day held in RTA Head Office. Attendees of the event included Abdullah Al Madani, CEO of Corporate Technology Support Services Sector as well as a host of directors and partnership coordinators in the RTA.
Attendants also included coordinators of Corporate Technology Support Services Sector’s partners such as Smart Dubai Office, Department of Finance, Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, Huawei International, Khalifa University for Science, Technology and Research, and Dubai University.
In his speech to the event, Abdullah Al Madani stressed the importance of these gatherings in boosting the communication and cooperation with partners towards the fruition of the set objectives. “Such events offer a platform for sharing expertise, ideas and suggestions relating to the application of modern technology towards realising the strategic directives of the government highlighted by AI, and Big Data management with emphasis on the improvement of services and smart products. These technological advancements will put Dubai to the fore and cement its pioneering role in this regard at the regional and international levels.
“The gathering deliberated ideas and initiatives for cementing the partnership between the RTA and other organisations operating in this field. Discussions also touched on the use of modern technology, including smart apps, in various fields in support of the government drive along with the future challenges, shared Smart City projects and key future projects,” added Al Madani.
