Dubai Land Department (DLD) is participating in the ‘UAE Innovation Month 2018’ with a series of special events that are designed to spread happiness among the department’s customers and employees.
His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, commented: “Our support of the ‘UAE Innovation Month 2018’ reaffirms our commitment to following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make our beloved country an integrated environment for innovation. At DLD, we encourage the development of new ideas, work to implement them, and constantly measure their effectiveness because we believe in His Highness’ vision to make innovation the capital of our future, reflecting our aspirations to reach the highest levels in all of our endeavours.”
DLD will organise an ‘Exhibition of talents and innovations of our employees’ under the title of ‘Innovation in Leadership perspective’ from 22nd to 28th February 2018. The exhibition will be open to all employees and customers, inviting them to learn more about their colleague’s achievements and the innovation of people of determination, reflecting DLD’s belief that talent and creativity are the cornerstones of productivity and innovation. The exhibition will be inaugurated in the presence of DLD’s Director General and senior representatives from the department.
The exhibition will also provide visitors with an opportunity to discover the most innovative services provided by DLD, as well as highlighting the innovative ideas that are shaping the future of real estate, including the ‘Self Real Estate Transaction’ Idea that was nominated by ‘Dubai 10X’ initiative.
DLD will organise the first ‘Arab Land Conference’ over three days from 26th to 28th February. The event will be held in partnership with the World Bank, Global Land Tool Network (GLTN), UN-Habitat, The Arabian Union for Surveying, and The League of Arab States. The conference aims to strengthen innovation in land management and real estate reform to enhance social and economic development in the Arab region, while also exchanging knowledge and enriching regional cooperation.
‘UAE Innovation Month 2018’ kicked-off at the start of February and will continue until the 28th of the same month. The innovation month will be held across all seven emirates, with the final week of specialised events taking place in Dubai.
