“A superb stand has been designed comprising six key elements; the first involves a visual display revealing the initial steps taken to construct Route 2020 for expanding the Dubai Metro Red Line from Nakheel Harbour & Tower Station 15 km to the site of Expo 2020. The Route, which runs 11 km in an elevated track and 4 km underground, comprises 7 stations and envisages the construction of three stations to serve Al Maktoum International Airport as well as densely populated areas,” she said.
“The second element,” continues Moaza “is a kind of a pictorial and informational show visualizing the massive project currently undertaken by RTA i.e. the Dubai Water Canal linking the Business Bay with the Arabian Gulf, offering a lifestyle experience in the heart of Dubai on the shores of the Canal.
“The third element is highlighted by screens displaying the smart and creative apps launched in a bid to emulate the strategic goal: People’s Happiness. The fourth element encapsulates the second edition of the Read More initiative exhibiting the ‘Knowledge Chair’ which is a wooden chair surround by dozens of books. The sixth element exhibits the 11 awards bagged by RTA at the Hamdan bin Mohammed Program for Smart Government 2015 emulating the effective contribution of RTA in realizing the Smart City initiative in a way reflecting people’s happiness by easing their accessibility to RTA’s services using latest and smartest means.

The Exhibition offers a superb chance for benefiting from the expertise of participating entities in support of the upswing witnessed by the UAE in general and Dubai in particular. The event fits well with the standing of RTA as one of the biggest government entities in Dubai, and its relentless endeavours to accomplish more projects capable of addressing present & future challenges,” concluded Moaza.
