The Dubai Police Gen. HQ launched “Business Profile” Service, through its Application, for the iOS System, to become accessible to companies, via smartphones. Such development of events comes within the directives of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai; for the transformation to Smart Government and the initiatives to make Dubai the smartest city, worldwide.
Brigadier Khalid Naser Al Razooqi, General Manager of Smart Services Department, declared that this Service would support and facilitate the procedures of companies and private institutions. This is the basic tactic of Dubai Police, through the follow up of Major General Khamis Matar Al Mazeina, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, to substantiate this tactic within its goals and tasks, in all General Department and Police Stations.
Brigadier Al-Razooqi continued to say that company’s representatives could access Dubai Police Application and log on to “MyID” System. When the System identifies the representative, he will be able to accomplish the company's transactions, without having to fill in the data, periodically. Services that can be accomplished are requesting employees’ Certificates of Criminal Status, inquire and pay for traffic fines, file reports of bounced checks, request permit to close a street, issue a night work permit, in addition to issuing a traffic clearance certificate for the company.
Brigadier Al Razooqi went on to say that, the updating includes numerous new features, such as the link with SIRI feature, available on Apple phones, through which user can pay for traffic fines, sending suggestions and notes, in addition of having an interactive channel, for our services, through written and spoken chat.
The Dubai Smart Initiative aims at transforming Dubai to be the smartest city, worldwide, through 100 initiatives and 1000 smart services to improve the quality of life in Dubai. The Initiative is based on 6 main sectors, focusing on achieving smart economy, smart way of life, smart transportations, smart government, smart environment, and smart generations; through 3 main axis: communication, continuity, and cooperation.
