The General Department of Smart Services at Dubai Police has recently launched a smart platform, using the smart assistant SIRI, for iPhone devices. Users, who have Dubai Police Smart App on their phones, can now use this feature to pay for traffic fines or present suggestions, without the need to log in to the applications.
Brigadier Khaled Nasser Alrazooqi, General Director of Smart Services department, pointed out that, regionally, Dubai Police is the first government establishment to develop this service. The development of this type of service enables customers to complete their transactions, through this feature.
Brigadier Alrazooqi said that Dubai Police are keen to be present in all of smart platforms and to strengthen their direction in the field of smart services. This, in turn, will satisfy the customers, and will go hand-in-hand with the direction of smart government; through the completion of transactions, submission of applications, feedbacks, suggestions, and complaints, through smartphones that are available for different sectors of the society.
Brigadier Alrazooqi made it clear that the new feature would enable customers to limit many steps in completing any of the smart services, when it comes to E-payment.
He pointed out that users have to register in mPay service, provided by Dubai Smart Government, in order to activate the payment feature, when using credit cards. They may also use the service to present their suggestions, easily and conveniently.
Mr. Samer Al-Khawajah, the Dubai Police App project manager said: our team start directly and under the guidance of the Director and after releasing the new update of iOS,start studying the integrating process with the app and then start designing and developing this features following the most international standards on of programming and design and applying the best user experience (UI, UX).
It is worth mentioning that Smart Dubai Initiative aims to transform Dubai into the smartest city in the world, through 100 initiatives and 1000 smart services that work on improving the quality of life in Dubai. The quality of life in Dubai is based on 6 key sectors focused on achieving smarter economy, smarter way of life, smarter transportation, smarter government, smarter environment, and smarter generations; within the three main areas of communication and integration and cooperation.
