Be part of an attempt to set a Guinness World Record during Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), as it teams up with ‘The Body Coach’ Joe Wicks to host the world’s largest high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class on Saturday 26 October.
The best-selling author and Instagram fitness star will lead the intense cardio session at Skydive Dubai, giving Dubai’s residents the chance to break a sweat and a world record at the same time. The free-to-attend session, presented by DEWA, will feature a 30-minute class with a series of short and intense periods of anaerobic exercises, followed by short recovery breaks.
Wicks currently holds the record title himself with a HIIT class of 3,804 participants he led in London in 2017 – and has now called upon the city of Dubai to be ‘In It, Together’ to beat that record.
The session promises to be moderate in intensity, with a basic level of fitness required to participate. In order to break the Guinness World Record, all participants must complete the full 30-minute workout without stopping. Participation in HIIT30x30 is free, for people aged 18 years and above, with more details and registration available at: https://dubai.platinumlist.net/event-tickets/77264/hiit-30x30-with-joe-wicks.
Delivering on its promise to being bigger and better, the record-breaking session is part of Dubai Fitness Challenge’s drive to inspire Dubai’s residents to commit to at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days. The session is amongst a number of citywide events and sessions designed to increase accessibility of fitness and wellness activities for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
