Nakheel, sponsor of the UAE Tour White Jersey, hosted 140 of the world’s best cyclists at Dubai’s world-famous, award-winning Palm Jumeirah as Stage 4 of the event got under way today.
The riders gathered at The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel’s new, AED800 million waterfront dining and lifestyle destination, for the start of their 198 km journey to Hatta Dam.
Aqil Kazim, Nakheel Chief Commercial Officer, who officially started today’s race, said: “The UAE Tour takes in some of the UAE’s best loved, most famous landmarks, including our very own flagship development, Palm Jumeirah. We’re delighted to support this prestigious event as a jersey sponsor and host venue.”
