Dubai’s Mass Transit Carry 2 Million Riders On New Year’s Eve With 10% Increase Over Last Year

The number of public transport riders during the New Year's Eve 2019 celebrations reached (2,100,000) riders, registering a (10%) increase over last year's total ridership. 

Dubai’s metro through its Red and Green lines carried (867,000) and Dubai tram carried (33,253) riders. Public buses riders were (428,549) and (659,134) taxi riders, while different marine transport modes carried (61,449) riders on the New Year’s Eve.
