Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today announced the lucky winner of its monthly Kunooz Savings Account draw for May 2018. Khalid Ahmed Al Marzooqi, a UAE national, was handed over the AED 1 million cash prize at the bank’s headquarters in Dubai Healthcare City recently.
Commenting on his win, Al Marzooqi said: "I was overwhelmed to learn that I won a cash prize of AED 1 million and could not believe it at first when I received the call from Emirates Islamic. I started saving in my Kunooz Savings Account with the hope of winning one day after watching the bank’s advertisements promoting its various offers, products, and services. I am very impressed and pleased with the quality of service that Emirates Islamic provides, and the excellent Shari'a-compliant banking products that the Bank offers. My experience has encouraged me to continue saving to win other prizes that the bank offers."
Voted Banker Middle East Product Award’s Best Savings Account in 2017, Emirates Islamic’s Kunooz Savings Account is the bank’s flagship account that offers customers a chance to win AED 1 million, a Tesla car or AED 200,000 in a Savings Account, for every AED 5,000 maintained monthly in their account. Additionally, customers have a chance to win one of five cash prizes worth AED 3,000 every day for every AED 1,000 maintained daily in their account.
