As part of its ongoing activities to spread the values of late Sheikh Zayed in Zayed’s year, the Community Development Authority in Dubai (CDA), organized a brainstorming session with the licensed civil organizations to discuss innovative plans to promote Sheikh Zayed’s values among the various communities in Dubai. CDA acknowledges Human Development, Sustainability, Respect and Wisdom, the core values of late Shaikh Zayed and the fundamental deliverables of any of CDA's projects and initiatives and they are essential target for CDA cooperation with the civil organizations.
Due to its responsibility to promote social cohesion among the various communities living in Dubai and to spread UAE culture and values, CDA engaged all the licensed civil organizations to discuss ideas that could work best to spread Zayed Values among various communities residing in Dubai. The session aimed to gather innovative ideas and to come up with unique programs to celebrate Year of Zayed and initiate community activities to highlight Wisdom, Respect, Sustainability and Human development, some of Zayed’s values and principles.
The community youth participated in the session that was joined by 40 of the civil organizations representatives. Many ideas and recommendations were suggested and they will be further developed to activities soon.
Dr. Omar Al Muthanna, CEO - Licensing & Monitoring Sector said that the session is part of CDA’s efforts to bring together all the segments of the society to be aligned and embrace the values of late Sheikh Zayed. “The year 2018 marks 100 years since the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE, this is an important occasion to celebrate his values and legacy. Year of Zayed is a great opportunity to remind everyone lives on this land about our optimum values that helped shaping the country to be a place for everyone. We aimed from this session to encourage the civil organization to contribute their programs and activities to the Year of Zayed and to align all their programs to the value of late Sheikh Zayed”
