The Community Development Authority (CDA) signed Memorandum of Understating with Symphony Style and Al Abbar design aiming to simplify and develop the cooperation in CDA's programs to empower Emiratis socially and financially.
The agreement comes as a result for series of cooperation relations between Al Abbar Design, Symphony Style and CDA unifying the efforts to serve the most needy segment of Dubai’s community and ensuring the sustainability of the social development programs.
The MoU was signed by HE Ahmed Abdul Karim Julfar, Director General of CDA, Shamsa Al Abbar, General Manager of Al Abbar Design and Salam Al Abbar, General Manager of Symphony Style.
As per the agreement, Symphony Style and Al Abbar Design will provide financial support to CDA’s CSR packages which will help ensuring better sustainability for the social development projects empowering and enhancing the stability of Emiratis socially and financially.
HE Julfar Said that the importance of this agreement comes as it provides a positive role model for SME’s CSR, and it inspires other society members and businesses to follow this example.
“We believe that the best strategies in social development comes from the community itself, therefore, we consider youth, volunteering and CSR, the key pillars for us to achieve our strategic goals. We are pleased to work together with young Emirati pioneers like Shamsa and Salam Al Abbar, who gave a great example for the young Emirati females who belong to their society matters and are committed toward it”.
The MoU signing came in coinciding with the Tasyourah charity exhibition organized by Symphony Style with the proceeds of the entry fee to support the Community Development Authority (CDA) projects.. The event was held between the 25th and the 28th of April at Annex in Burj Khalifa in Downtown and hosted talented and renowned regional and international designers.
Commenting on the MoU, salam Al Abbar said "We are honored to be able to give back to our community with the help of the CDA; a community that has given us so much.".
Symphony Style and Al Abbar Design announced recently ‘Al Abbar empowerment programme”, and this MoU comes in line with the program’s objectives.
Shamsa Al Abbar said commenting on the agreement and on the cooperation with CDA: “I am honored to support and be associated with an organization such as CDA, giving back to our community is a privilege, and hoping we can help as many families as we can”.
