It’s the gig of a lifetime for the five young members of the LEGOLAND® Dubai Junior Reporter team, who won the opportunity to be the first to report on the latest news, exciting events and activities taking place at LEGOLAND Dubai, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts. Selected from over 100 English and Arabic-speaking children that took part in the competition announced in February, the five Junior Reporters shone with confidence and creative entries uploaded on social media, or emailed, with the hashtag #ImAJuniorReporter.
The chosen five include 9-year-old Aarnavi, who chose MINILAND as one of her favourite things at the theme park; 8-year-old Tala who shared her English, French and Arabic language skills; and 9 year-old Maya, who raved about LEGOLAND Dubai’s offering for the entire family, 9-year-old LEGOLAND super fan Kareem and 12-year-old Ghous, who owns his own YouTube channel, round up the group of budding journalists – both of whom expressed their love for LEGOLAND Dubai and how it inspires their imagination.
In addition to being invited to all events at LEGOLAND Dubai, the Junior Reporters also won four annual passes for their family to ensure their loved ones also enjoy the 60 rides, attractions and building experiences spread across LEGOLAND Dubai and LEGOLAND® Water Park.
Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND Dubai said: “LEGOLAND Dubai is designed for families with children aged 2-12, and it made perfect sense for us to create more content from the perspective of children. This is why we launched the Junior Reporter competition, which has been a fun-filled experience for us all. We initially planned for 4 Junior Reporters only, but couldn’t resist all 5 of the awesome finalists. They each have unique and exciting personalities, exude confidence and share a love for the camera – and we cannot wait to work with them!”
LEGOLAND Dubai, together with LEGOLAND® Water Park, is part of Dubai Parks and Resorts which also features Bollywood Parks™ Dubai a first-of-its-kind theme park that showcases rides and attraction based on some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters and MOTIONGATE™ Dubai – a unique theme park showcasing some of Hollywood’s most beloved characters from DreamWorks Animation, Colombia Pictures and Lionsgate.
