The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, MBRF, held a workshop at the Dubai Sports Council, DSC, last week to launch its Arab Professionals Forum initiative.
Jamal bin Huwaireb, the CEO of MBRF, led the visiting delegation along with Mohammed Husary, the Co-Owner, Founder and Executive President of UAS International Trip Support, who shared his experience with DSC staff through a series of presentations titled "Career Success and Happiness".
Nasser Al Rahma, the Assistant Secretary-General of DSC, attended the lecture, which defined "career success" and how to achieve it through "clarity, passion and commitment".
"We are really proud that the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation have picked Dubai Sports Council to launch their Arab Professionals Forum initiative here in the UAE," said Al Rahma. "This is a great initiative, which seeks to enrich the world of Arab professionals through the vision and experiences of our elite Arab professionals, academics and entrepreneurs.
"We at Dubai Sports Council are always aiming high as a team, to keep improving as a unit, and interactions like these, with renowned and successful professionals like Mr. Husary, will definitely go a long way in meeting those aspirations, both at the individual and the team levels."
Jamal bin Huwaireb added, "The workshops seek to benefit from the extensive expertise and knowledge that the participating Arab academics and professionals bring to the table, which spans to various economic, social and technological sectors.
"In collaboration with LinkedIn, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation provides ample opportunities for members to exchange ideas, integrate their visions, and work together to improve cultural, social and economic conditions across the entire region."
The Arab Professionals Forum initiative is a collaboration between MBRF and LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network with more than 546 million users in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
The aim of the initiative is to create a virtual forum that brings together elite Arab professionals holding leadership positions in government and private sectors, as well as academics, teachers, researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs, to present and discuss important topics, to review latest developments, and to exchange experiences.
