The Emirates Philatelic Association, a UAE non-profit philatelic association, in collaboration with Dragon Mart 2, is holding "Stamp Exhibition EPAEX 2018 - Dubai" to celebrate "Year of Zayed" and to promote every aspect of philately in the region. The exhibition is being held at Dragon Mart 2, Dubai from 6th to 10t March 2018.
Mohammed Ahmad Almurr inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of senior officials from Dragon Mart 2, Dubai Culture, Emirates Post and prominent exhibitors from GCC countries.
The idea of organising this event is to develop the concept of professional philatelic exhibiting as per international standards and to push forward exhibits from GCC countries to the world.
Exhibitors from GCC countries and New Zealand are taking part in the exhibition along with 20 international philatelic and numismatic dealers. The exhibits will be judged as per international standards.
During the exhibition there are many activities including philatelic workshops and presentation on exhibiting techniques to all exhibitors, children activities and philatelic and numismatic auction.
