There are the 7 wonders of the world, and there is Dubai, the 8th wonder in itself. Redefining itself as one of the most astonishing places in the world, Dubai has emerged as a city that embraces modernity developing with the speed of light, while holding on its rich cultural heritage, its unique authenticity.
Dubai has no shortage of wonders that left the world appealed and that would most probably attract more than 20 million visitors annually by 2020, starting with Burj al Arab, the Palm Islands, Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain or the World Islands. And yet, Dubai has no intention to push the breaks on its continuous development, on the contrary, the city has powered up a gear or two with billions of dirhams worth of projects, such as the Al Mamzar Beachfront, Museum of the Future, Dubai Frame, Bluewaters Island, Dubai Water Canal, Dubai Creek Harbor, Deira Island, Aladdin City and many more.
One particular project will be explored further in this article: Bvlgari Resort and Residences. The renowned Italian fashion brand has teamed up with the Dubai developer Meraas to create one of the world’s most exquisite places in the world.
The luxury property will be the world’s fifth Bulgari Hotels and Resorts property. Commenced on an exclusive island development, the upscale Jumeirah Bay Island, off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Road, the entire assembly will take the shape of a titanic seahorse and will be joined to the mainland by a single carriageway bridge. The Bvlgari Resort and Residences will feature 165 apartments, eight penthouses, 15 mansions and a five-star hotel. The project will be spread across 1.7 million square feet.
The Bvlgari-branded 101-room hotel along with 20 villas will be operated by Marriott’s Ritz-Carlton. The apartments will have one to four bedrooms, while the mansions will have between three and six bedrooms.

Each property makes a strong reference to the local culture, yet has been designed with an Italian contemporary luxury feel, creating a flawless and unique guest experience.
