There are more reasons to celebrate during this year’s Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), as Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism, and the organisers of DSF, is offering unbeatable prizes in daily raffles held throughout the citywide shopping extravaganza.
In the daily gold promotion run by Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, shoppers Fathima and Mustafa, both UAE nationals, won ¼ kg of gold each.
Commenting on her win, Fathima, said: “It was my first time winning anything! At first I couldn’t believe what I’d heard. It was only when they mentioned the coupon number that I realised it was me. I couldn’t ask for a better way to start 2018, I hope my luck continues.”
Mustafa has been jumping for joy since his win saying: “I keep pinching myself, it was such a nice feeling to win ¼ kilo of gold. Dubai is a city that always gives to its citizens. It reallyis such a specialfeeling that I’ve won, as this is also the Year of Zayedand last year was the Year of Giving.”
Each day throughout DSF, shoppers buying gold and diamond jewellery will have the chance to win three prizes at the daily gold raffle draws; the first prize winner will get ½ kgof gold while the second and third lucky shoppers will each get a ¼ kgof gold as their prize. On the last day of DSF one lucky winner will take home one kilo of gold and three winners will win tola bars.In the DSF gold promotion, customersspending AED 500 or more on gold at any of the participating retail outlets will get one raffle coupon that will be entered into the daily draws, whilst those who spend AED 500 on diamond jewellery, will receive two raffle coupons.

DSF shopperswill also be in with a chance of winninga daily prize of anINFINITI QX60 plus AED 150,000 in cash.Raffle tickets are available until 3rd February and can be purchased for just AED200 from EPPCO and ENOC petrol stations, Global Village, ZOOM, metro stations across the city.
