UAE Financial Market News
19 December 2010. UAE stocks mostly rose today. On the Nasdaq Dubai, DP World rose 0.85% to 0.595. Dubai Financial Market Dubai stocks rose 0.13% to 1641 points from trading worth AED 138m with Emaar Properties (EMAAR) and Arabtec (ARTC) the most actively traded stocks, with AED 50m each. Emaar rose 0.56% to 3.57, and Arabtec rose 2.56% to 2.00. Gulf Navigation (GULFNAV) was the best of the more active gainers, 2.8% up to 0.435. The other gainers rose less than 2% or on thin trading. Arab International Logistics (ARMX) was the worst of the more active losers, down 1.4% to 2.08, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (DU) fell 1.1%, and the other losers fell less than 1% or on thin trading. Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Abu Dhabi stocks rose 0.25% to 2722 points from trading worth AED 108m with Aldar Properties (ALDAR) the most actively traded stock, up 3.1% to 2.33 from AED 48m, and was also the best of the more active gainers. Green Crescent Insurance (GCIC) rose 2.6%. Ras Al Khaimah Properties (RAKPROP) was up 2.2%, and the other gainers were up less than 2% or on thin trading. There were only three losers, and only one saw trading worth more than AED 1m - First Gulf Bank (FGB) down 0.80% to 18.70. Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) was unchanged, and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) fell 0.42%.
